The general aim of the Department of Educational Sciences is to conduct teaching profession courses in all undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Education, to conduct research in the field of education, to increase the quality of education and training with graduate programs, to contribute to the training of qualified education specialists, psychological counselors and teachers, to contribute to the training of various faculties and to provide basic education courses to graduates of departments. These aims are tried to be realized through the Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Administration, Measurement and Evaluation Departments within the Department of Educational Sciences. Out of these departments, only the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department can accept undergraduate students, and the Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Administration, Measurement and Evaluation Departments can accept graduate students. The Department of Educational Sciences within the Faculty of Education of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University admits students to the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Undergraduate Program, the Educational Administration Master’s program, the Educational Administration Non-Thesis Master's Program,  the Guidance and Psychological Counseling  Master's Program, and the  Educational Programs and Instruction Master's Program.  An Erasmus Student Exchange Protocol has been signed between our department and some universities in European countries to exchange students, and our students have the opportunity to study at a contracted university abroad for a certain period of time, if they request and meet the necessary conditions. Although we are a newly opened department, our Educational Sciences Department serves our students with its competent academic staff, as a department showing a rapid growth momentum. In our department,  2 Professors, 5 Associate Professors, 3 Assistant Professors and 1 Research Assistant works.
