Elementary Mathematics Teaching Program is a 4-year undergraduate program within the Department of Mathematics and Science Education in the Faculty of Education.
Primary School Mathematics Teaching Program started to recruit students in 2013 - 2014 academic year in order to train mathematics teachers who will work in the second level of primary education (5th-8th grade).
The program includes compulsory field knowledge, teaching profession knowledge, elective, general culture and practice courses.
The curriculum of our department is based on contemporary approaches in teacher training; It aims to train teachers who have the qualifications required by their profession, who can set the right model for their students in their personal and professional life, and who can take an active role in research and development activities.
