The aim of the Turkish Teaching Undergraduate Program is; In the field of Turkish education and training, to cover Turkish language and literature, the latest teaching approaches, methods and techniques in the world, to process the knowledge and competencies related to the teaching profession in detail and to gain students at the level of knowledge and practice.

Mission: Researching and examining written and oral products in the field of Turkish language, which is one of the basic elements of our culture, within the Turkish Teaching Undergraduate Program; To train Turkish teachers who are competent in the fields of language, effective use and teaching of language, and scientists in the field of Turkish Education, who share the information obtained with the society and put it at the service of the society, play a decisive role in the relations with other cultures, so that our people can reach a better standard of living in the globalizing world. In addition, another mission of our department is to participate in national and international educational activities in order to protect and develop the Turkish language, to introduce it to its own nation and the world, to play a decisive role in these activities and to contribute.

Vision: Able to work to solve the basic problems of Turkish, developed reasoning and synthesis skills, suitable for the needs and development of the age, respectful to national and universal values, competent in their field of expertise, committed to scientific principles, able to contribute to the scientific world that can be developed throughout life, and sincerely loyal to their country and nation. Our aim is to train national and international Turkish teachers and scientists in the field of Turkish Education, who try to learn and teach their national values, who can think creatively, critically and who have advanced questioning skills.

Our department has started education by taking 40 students to the Turkish Language Teaching Undergraduate Program as of the 2019-2020 Fall semester.
